NEW PARKING METER RATES
A growing disparity between private parking lots and
meter charges has drivers "cruising" to find street parking.
This. in turn, increases in unnecessary traffic congestion
and pollution.
On average, the City's parking meters
have not had a rate adjustment in about 20 years...

Eco-Waste Collection Event

Dear Mr. Handal:

I'm writing to you in your capacity as Chair of the West Los Angeles Neighborhood Council to let you know about an exciting environmental event coming up in February.

A coalition of educational, religious and cultural institutions located along Mulholland Drive have banded together for the second year to host an Eco-Waste Collection Event on Saturday, February 21st from 9 a.m. -
3 p.m.

This easy, drive-through event will take place in the parking lot of Bel Air Presbyterian Church, located at 16221 Mulholland Drive. Further details are contained in the attached flyer.

We would be delighted if you could share this information with your constituents. Together we can keep a significant amount of e-waste out
of our landfills and dispose of it safely and efficiently. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call me.

Thank you!
Sincerely,
Leslie Mirman Geffen
