DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS IN WLANC

The Land Use Committee of the Westside
Neighborhood Council (
our southeast neighbor)
will hold a meeting Wednesday, May 28, on
a proposed
very large
Pico/Sepulveda development that will
impact all the Westside.

The mixed-use project, bound by Pico to the north, Sepulveda
to the east, Exposition to the south, and Sawtelle 470 feet to the
west, will have its first two floors, approximately 265,000 sf, for
commercial space. 500 residential rental units above will have
building heights from 5 to 7 stories, overlooking a grand
landscaped court. It will serve as private commons for residents,
and include lush landscaping, water features, pathways and active
and passive recreational amenities. With Metro's coordination,
the project will include a light rail station to serve the proposed
Exposition Light Rail Transit Line. Parking will be accommodated
in an above ground garage on Exposition, as well as in a
subterranean garage beneath the entire project.
