Me, Roxanne and Qenan on April 15 in Toronto
|
Greetings, and welcome to the second week in Child Abuse Prevention Month. We are still 'out of office' and will be on break all of April, but still look out for us popping our heads in to check in and send you some really cool news. As a mother, and daughter of parents who have always been actively involved in my life, I know the importance of protecting our children from abuse. As we pay special attention to the children all of this month, please consider doing some of the daily activities from a chart I created at my job at ERFSC for our Child Abuse Prevention Campaign. It is '30 Daily Acts of Kindness Towards Children' and remember that YOU do not have to have given birth to a child to do any of these daily acts. If you want to play catch up since today is day 12, go right ahead, and also consider making these daily acts extend beyond April. Special hello to new and proud parents of babyQenan and MY friends of about 20 years,Previn and Roxanne Francis who I had the opportunity to visit last week while I was in Toronto. Baby Qenan is soooooo adorable.
Happy Thursday,
