It's Show Time!

Dear Friends, I hope you had a wonderful Easter weekend and observed whatever cultural norms you have. Many of you went out of town to share the time with family and friends so I am happy you made it back safely and are back in the swing of things. I had a very quiet but wonderful weekend -- the highlight being a visit from a woman I love very much. She came bearing gifts, great conversation, and an incredible energy that left me feeling LIFTED! Much love to you always, Empress Tonya. Sooooo, I am super-excited because this Sunday, May 1, we will tape the final pepisode of Season 1 of PEP Talk! I kept praying for this day and now that it is almost here, I do not know what to do with myself. Time sure has flown because it seems like just yesterday when I shared with you that I have a new Talk Show coming (it was actually about 6 months ago), and it was on January 1, 2011 that we had our Launch Party and released our first pepisode. Since then, we have invaded many homes by showing 11 pepisodes to date. We are being shown in 21 islands and South Florida on "regular TV" courtesy of CaribVision. We have other traditional TV stations that are going to be showing us in months to come. We have also partnered with many other internet stations and now have audiences all over the world. Most importantly, we have gotten nothing but great feedback on the quality program we have created and produced. We are humbled, honored and happy and we look forward to pushing the envelope as we embark on a new Season 2. YES, we need your help and continued feedback to make the next Season even better so keep watching, sharing, commenting and consider sponsoring if your pocket can afford it. Many thanks to all the guests on Season 1: Faruq Muhammad, Loide Jorge, Jacqueline Hall, Yasmin Anderson-Smith, Cen'C Love, Johann Richard, Eric and Tamar Goodson, Oji Jaja, Moreen Wallace, Claudette Henry, Fiona and Nicole Wright, Dr. Claire Nelson, Racquel Brown-Gaston, and Stan Evan Smith. Much appreciation for our Season 1 sponsors: Yasmin Anderson-Smith, Ange Anglade, Claudette Henry, Tonya Martin, and Leon Staton.Mega respect to our Season 1 editors: Alex Flemmings, Jr., Roan Ross, and Mark Leeke. Please stick with us and continue to help us share this wonderful program with many others. You may do that by sending them to our Youtube Page and also forwarding this Newsletter to them. Welcome to the end of April and the beginning of May, Rosie Peppy ParkeCreative DirectorPeppy Entertainment & Promotions |

PEP Talk pepisode #11 with Racquel Brown Gaston

"Hi Racquel, excellent interview. I was born and raised in Bed Stuy and share your sentiment regarding our environment. It was all I knew and knew something wasn't right about where and the way we lived. I bet it was even more of a challenge for you considering your experiences in your father's home. You have a very interesting and inspirational life story. I hope Niaka added an Autobiography to your to-do list. Congratulations on your success and thanks for sharing your story."
