Its A Jungle Out There: Using Humor as a Coping Mechanism:

By Jan Moss.

Join us as we present Jan Moss as she speaks to us about personal insights with humorous stories about being a parent of two diverse children with developmental disabilities; to describe work with families who have children with special health care needs; to explore the lifespan, what I wish I had known when my children were young and growing up that might have transferred to adult competencies and abilities; to discuss the practical things we can do as providers and families now that we know so much more about brain development, emotional well being, etc.
