 Quilters Take Manhattan

If you weren't able to travel to New York for the Infinite Variety quilt exhibition in March or if you just didn't get enough time in the Big Apple, now you have a second chance. The AAQ invites you to join us for a fabulous weekend of quilts, fabric, fun and fashion . To showcase its dynamic programs, and help pay for them too, the Alliance has put together a fun collection of three related but separate events: "Quilters Take Manhattan." Click on the links below for full details and ticket sales for each event. Tickets are sold a la carte, so you can tailor a program to your own tastes and budget.

Thanks to our generous sponsors, listed below, we're able to offer tickets at very affordable prices. But naturally we give our members an extra low price. We hope that if you are not a member and plan to join us in August, you'll consider taking that extra step and becoming a member. Members of the Alliance for American Quilts support and propel our mission to document, preserve and share the rich history of quilts and quiltmakers, providing key financial support for our projects (Quilters' S.O.S.- Save Our Stories, The Quilt Index, Quilt Treasures and Boxes Under the Bed). Members often serve as ambassadors for the AAQ at quilt shows and events and help promote our mission and projects through their own networks. Even if you can't come, maybe this is a good time to support us with your membership. Click here for information on becoming an AAQ member.

Jay will be interviewed for the Alliance's prestigious Q.S.O.S. oral history project, and take questions from the audience.
