View Vote Bid graphicThe "Alliances" contest quilts are now displayed on the AAQ website and they are stunning. Check out all 119 quilts and listen to the artist's statement recordings--a new feature this year: http://www.allianceforamericanquilts.org/projects/galleries/Alliances/gallery/.  

 

All AAQ members should have received their voting ballots via email by now. If you are a member and have not received your ballot email, please contact Amy Milne. All new members who join by Tuesday, April 19 will be eligible to vote for their favorite "Alliances" quilt. Join online here. Voting ends on Wednesday, April 20. 

 

New this year, we'll have Viewer's Choice Awards decided by attendees at our exhibition venues. Information will be handed out at the shows and voting will take place online. Prizes for the Viewer's Choice awards will be provided by our generous contest sponsors.     

 

Join us in Paducah! 

If you're coming to the AQS show in Paducah be sure to join us for the Winner's Announcement at noon on Wednesday, April 27 in the "Alliances" exhibition space located in the 1st floor exhibit hall in the Carroll Convention Center, aisle 2200.  

 

Join Me for Gallery Tours!
If you are an "Alliances" artist who is coming to the show and you'd like to volunteer to stand by your quilt during scheduled gallery tours, please sign up here. Just type your name under Participants and check any days/time(s) that you will attend. Gallery tours will happen Wednesday 4/27 at noon (following our winner's announcement), at 2pm, at 4pm; and on Thursday 4/28 at 10 am and noon.
