"Calculating the Worth of Your Sponsorship"
Tom Perros, Senior Analyst, IEG Valuation Services Nancy Atufunwa, Manager, IEG Client Solutions
(CFEE Elective - Economic Impact)
90 Minute Presentation Properties want to secure corporate partners without leaving money on the table. Sponsors want to enter into partnerships without overpaying. This natural order of things leaves many properties and sponsors worlds apart in their perceptions of a deal's actual value. IEG, which created the world's only sponsor-endorsed protocol to determine the fair market value of any sponsorship (ranging from local to global sponsorships), will walk you through the core drivers of value and how to put a price on them. The techniques and principles, including insights into maximizing value, can be applied to your own sponsorship.
Tom Perros assists sponsors and rightsholders in determining the fair market value of their corporate sponsorship packages. Through his work with IEG Valuation Service, Tom has assisted a number of sports properties, festivals, permanent attractions, causes and associations to secure new sponsors as well as get the most value out of their existing sponsorships. Tom's clients include the Green Bay Packers, Cheyenne Frontier Days, Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, Tourism Vancouver, ADK Tokyo, Asics, Anaheim Angels, Minnesota Zoo, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
Nancy Atufunwa currently works in IEG's business development department. Nancy previously worked in IEG's Valuation Services where she assisted a number of festivals, sports properties and associations to secure new sponsors as well as get the most value out of their existing sponsorships. Her current clients include NFL PLAYERS, the University of West Virginia Athletics, City of Mesquite, Park City Mountain Resort and Sundance Square. |
