Welcome to the ReStore

ReStore logo

As you can see we have a new look going on here with our newsletter.  Which we need more help with.  For example how to make our logo [above] work in our heading!  So if you have some talent in this area, or are just willing to play with us on this, please let us know.
Special Thanks
Our thanks go out to the 15 students and thier advisors from Catlin Gable Upper School for their help on the 15th and 16th.  They were definitely a hard working crew and helped us get our lumber rack moved up to the front of the store, fill a dumpster, and even get some painting done.  This group has been working with Habitat for 12 years now, and has spent 2 days each winter breaks helping here at the ReStore since we first opened.  They are a great group and we enjoyed having them with us!
Our new truck look!
truck

As you can see our ReStore truck is sporting quite the new look.

Thanks to our sponsors we have been able to paint and letter our truck; turning it into a great billboard for our store.

So special thanks to:

Classique Floors, Metro Paint, and Walsh Construction.

Judith Huck, the owner of Classique Floors, is on the Board of our Mt. Hood affiliate.  They bring us tile, marmolium, linolium, and lots of other great stuff.

Metro Paint brings us pallets and pallets of paint and other chemicals that are brought to their sight for recycling.  We are their largest outlet for the re-use of products that would otherwise need to be incinerated.

Walsh Construction donates lots of lumber from thier building sites, usually at the end of a framing project.  One of their Project Managers, Dick Hutchison, is on the Board of the Portland Affiliate.

We also thank Fastsigns for their great work and their generousity in helping to make this all happen.

Two non profits that we work with have also been a part of this project; the Oregon Remodelers Association, and the Architectural Heritage Center.  We are glad to be members of each association.  Please check out their websites as well to learn about the wonderful work they are each doing in our community.

We still have room for more logos on the back of the truck.  So if you want to support us in this way and have your name up thier please give Joe a call at 503-283-6247.

See our quick links to check out each of these companies and organizations.
Hot New Items
table Now that we are taking furniture we're starting to get some pretty good stuff in.  Check out this mahogany table for only $400; there's a couple of dings but its brand new and in great shape!

Three piece desk and hutch; also brand new, and also mahogany [sorry no photo here] for $800.  This is a great unit with solid drawers, glass upper doors, and nice hardware.

Twin size fire engine [yes, fire engine] bunk beds.  $300.  This is about the oddest and definitely the cutest thing I've ever seen in our store.

Little, itty bitty, under counter microwaves.  All new and still in the box; just $5 each.  These are odd and tiny but would work for a camp, a mobile home, or a small kitchen where space is limited.

Lots and lots of new lighting, all in the boxes and new, many styles, most from Quarum.  Prices vary.  These are nice units from a distributor that just needed more room in the warehouse.
Sales and Closeouts
Sinks; starting at $5 each with vintage starting at $15.

Crazy old chandeliers; pennies on the dollar, just help us clear them out!

4 piece oak bedroom set, $225.  Headboard/footboard with 8 drawer dresser and mirror.  Nice set.

New bifold closet doors, in the box, with hardware.  $5 each or 1 free with a $20 or more purchase [now hows that for a deal?]
