On April 14, about 325 people attended a dedication service and open house at Mennonite Church USA's new office building in Elkhart, Ind. The service began in the Sermon on the Mount Chapel next door on the Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary campus. A procession across campus to the new building followed the service. College Corner: Student diagnosed with cancer receives special commencement By Mary E. Klassen Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary
Jane Friesen received her Master of Divinity diploma at her home in Archbold, Ohio, on April 4. Friesen began study at Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary in Elkhart, Ind., in 1989, commuting first from Toledo and then from Archbold. She was able to continue her studies sporadically even after a diagnosis of cancer in 2009. She currently is in Hospice care and her declining health prompted the seminary to accelerate the process of her graduation ... Read more ...
