Pink Mennos focus on healing and hope

 Participants at Pittsburgh 2011 calling themselves Pink Mennos held a worship service on July 5 that focused on healing and hope and included much singing. Not allowed to meet on site by the convention planning, the group met at the Smithfield United Church of Christ several blocks from the convention center. Randy Spaulding, pastor of Covenant Mennonite Church in Sarasota, Fla., gave a homily at the service and led a choir in several songs ... Tweeting to delegate sessions 
By Everett J. Thomas A new feature of this year's Delegate Assembly is something called the Digital Delegate.
During the Pittsburgh 2011 opening delegate session on July 5, some 60 people posted comments on the site; during a break, moderator Ed Diller (left) and moderator-elect Dick Thomas (right) read tweets and occasionally responded.
During the "open mic" period, a live video allowed those on the site to watch in real time. Approximately 50 watched the video feed. Those on the Digital Delegate site are not actually allowed to participate as delegates.
