Mennonite farmer travels to North Korea

Just three days after the Nov. 23, 2010, shelling of the disputed South Korean island of Yeongpyeong sparked increased tensions between North and South Korea, Doug Zehr got on a plane. His destination: Pyongyang, North Korea.

Goshen College student assaulted

At approximately 3 a.m., Jan. 18, the Goshen (Ind.) Police Department officers informed Goshen College they had received a report of a sexual assault of a Goshen College student at about 1 a.m. that day.

The student reported to police that she was approached by a white male while walking to her vehicle, which was parked on campus. The male displayed a knife and instructed her to drive him off campus to another location, where the assault occurred, police said. The student was transported to Goshen General Hospital for treatment and later released ...

It's an annual gathering of agencies from Brethren in Christ Church, Mennonite Church USA, Mennonite Church Canada, Conservative Mennonite Conference, Evangelical Mennonite Conference (Canada) and Mennonite Brethren.
