78-year-old woman bakes for charity

"I can't go, but even if I am 78 years old, I can still bake," writes Martha Deitrich of Bellefonte, Pa. Although Deitrich is unable to volunteer on a Mennonite Disaster Service project, she is exceptionally motivated to do what she can to support the work of MDS financially.

College Corner: Goshen's dining hall goes beyond burgers and fries

College dining halls are known for large amounts of food thrown away by students, for grease-laden burgers and chicken nuggets and for preparing mass quantities of food straight from the freezer section that would never be considered "fresh."

But something different is going on in the Goshen (Ind.)
