at Arapahoe Community College presents a benefit on Oct. 17 for Art from Ashes
Poetry writing and performance workshops, performance poet Bianca Mikhan, baked goods sale and dinner by Columbine High School students, Coyote Poets of the Universe, and our own Art from Ashes youth poets. $15 for a workshop and the performance :: $5 performance only. It's what I choose to let you see.
But really, I am smart and bright.
I try not to let people see the hurt, but I am that scared little boy
who is all alone.
I try and try and try to hide that fact;
But I am that scared little boy who is all alone.
But you see,
I am a little boy
I am that annoying boy.
I am that little annoying boy.
I am scared and alone.
I still await that person in the cape and armor to come.

preparation for Volunteer Appreciation Day on Oct. 22 from 6 to 9:30
