Greetings and Namaste!
While our friends in the southern hemisphere are heading towards their summer solstice, in the northern hemisphere we're heading into the cold and dark as we approach the winter solstice. We had our first dusting of snow over Thanksgiving at our new home in Cincinnati. We seek the warmth of loving friends and family with whom to celebrate holy days, which in every tradition invoke the wonder and joy of Light, Revelation, and the Divine taking form to relieve our suffering. The dark always calls forth the light. Yet we have much to learn about entering the dark and celebrating its gifts. If the seed didn't die to being a seed within the dark womb of the earth, it would never grow into the light.
