Greetings! Prince William is marrying Catherine Middleton today! There has been much comparison of Catherine with William's mother, Princess Diana. William gave Catherine Diana's ring, and much has been said about their similar sense of style. We're reminded frequently about how Diana lived, how she died, and how William and his brother Harry were left without a mother at very young ages. Tragically, it all came down to the need for a safety belt.
Click It has a video available for you to order about what happened in Princess Diana's crash, and how she died because she was not restrained by a passenger safety belt. The film makes the point that here you have this princess, who is guarded and no expense is spared to ensure her safety, and yet she dies because of the lack of the simplest of safety equipment--a safety belt.
Order the video about Princess Diana today. Learn what happened in her particular crash, and promote the use of safety belts to everyone who is watching with you. Let's prevent the loss of any more princesses, or anyone else, due to not being buckled up.

Record Low Fatalities in 2010!
| |
On April 1, U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood announced that traffic fatalities in 2010 dropped to the lowest levels since 1949. This is despite an increase in miles traveled on our roads. Read the full press release
We in Nebraska are also continually setting new records as the number of fatalities drops.
Congratulations! Everyone involved in making the roads safer, enforcing laws, and encouraging safety belt use has played a part in this remarkable achievement.
The work to maintain this low level and to get fatality numbers even lower is not stopping, but take a minute to feel good and to think about how your efforts have helped and what is working.
Now back to work--safety belt percentages need to be 100%!
