Teens are the least likely group to be wearing belts, but the most likely group to experience a crash.

Safety Belts reduce fatalities and injuries by 45 to 50% in crashes.  Join us in encouraging Nebraska teens to buckle up, every trip, every time.

Can your school use an extra $1000?

Greetings!

Since the Groundhog determined that we're going to have an early spring, you're going to have great weather for those safety belt observations.  That's a relief after all this snow and cold.

Don't forget:

  1. 2 safety belt observations in the parking lot. Observers can be students, law enforcement, hospital staff, service clubs, coalition members, or anyone.
  2. AAA has free downloadable music cards available for incentives. For more information, contact Rose White at RWhite@AAANE.com.  Provide the name of your school, the date of the check event, and an estimated number of the music cards needed.
  3. Free promotional materials are available on the Click It Website.
  4. Let us know your results by April 15!  The drawing is May 4!

Enter your school in a drawing for $1000!  And better yet, remind your students that safety belts are irreplacable in a crash. They can save a life, but only if they're worn.
