Norfolk Action Report
The Norfolk Middle School is steadily increasing their buckled rate!  The Norfolk Junior Optimist Club, under the guidance of Mark Claussen, their advisor, frequently checks safety belt usage.  These kids are doing a great job of increasing safety belt usage in Norfolk!  Norfolk Middle School

So far they have done 3 checks this spring and they have 3 more checks scheduled.  They also have the rollover vehicle presentation  and a visit from the seatbelt convincer scheduled.  So far, their best rate in a check is 87%, better than the state average of 85%.

Check out these finalists for the Act Out Loud competition, and get your ideas lined up for future efforts in your town!  None of the finalists are from Nebraska, but there act out loudare lots of good ideas for not only this competition, but for improving safety for teen drivers. 

If you have input into any teen activities, this competition is a great way to win great prizes, and also a great way to elevate teen awareness of safe driving!
