Breaking eggs in Norfolk!
The Egg Ramp finds its way to Burwell
Quick Links
Greetings!
We go to a lot of health fairs.  There are booths and tables for everything from chiropractors to how to identify stroke symptoms to information about walking.  Wearing a safety belt remains a fundamental aspect of health so be sure to include safety belt information in any health fair you organize!

A new feature of the Click It mission is mailing our egg ramp to various locations throughout the state. People are having fun with demonstrating the physics of a car crash, using eggs as victim examples. Let us know if you'd like to try the ramp for yourself!
Breaking eggs in Norfolk!
Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk took us up on our offer to loan out the egg ramp, and broke some eggs for the kids in Norfolk at their kids health fair in March.  Who better than an Emergency Department at a hospital to talk about the need for safety belts?
The Egg Ramp finds its way to Burwell
Danielle T rampWhen the egg ramp made its way back from Norfolk, it made a quick trip to Seward and then was quickly dispatched to Burwell.

Danielle Theune in Burwell did a great job of working with the kids to show what kind of breakage can occur when an egg neglects buckling up. Danielle T Burwell

The next stop on the egg ramp's trip is in Bassett, where Rock County Hospital will add more egg carnage to the ramp's exciting trip across Nebraska.

It's a simple concept--the egg can't stay in its seat in the car unless it's belted in. It's the same message for human vehicle occupants. The message is to buckle up every trip every time!
The "Click It Chronicle," our Click It Campaign e-letter, published whenever there is news, is available to all those interested in increasing safety belt usage.  Please share this information freely. Take the information, copy to friends, businesses and organizations with the same concerns.  Using the information provided will help reduce the needless fatalities and injuries on our highways and the associated costs. To subscribe to this e-letter, join the coalition, or be removed from the list, contact the Click It Team at cidri@safenebraska.org.
