Greetings!

Know any non-bucklers?  Here's a chart to help form the habit of wearing a safety belt every trip, every time.

Share this chart and our website with anyone you know who does not currently maintain good buckling habits. This chart can help you work on other habits as well, from quitting smoking to losing weight to increasing the amount of time you exercise!

25 honor Roll members in 2008

governor Heineman

2008 was a good year for the Click It--Don't Risk It Honor Roll.  25 organizations were placed on the Click It Honor Roll, and 16 of those registered over 90% in both of their observations, putting them on the Gold standard list.

All of the organizations received a certificate, and some of them made the trip to Lincoln to the Proclamation ceremony with Governor Heineman. Gold standard members also receive a wood plaque with their certificate.

Help make 2009 an even bigger year for the Click It Honor Roll and organize safety belt checks at your business, school, or club today!

The Action Report winner for the 4th quarter was one of omaha steaks meat pictureour Come Home Safe School contacts!  Each school contact organized 2 safety belt checks at their school and reported their results to Click It.  We hope that their efforts pay off in increased safety belt usage by teens throughout Nebraska, and we see correspondingly fewer deaths of teens due to traffic crashes.

The "Click It Chronicle," our Click It Campaign e-letter, published whenever there is news, is available to all those interested in increasing safety belt usage.  Please share this information freely. Take the information, copy to friends, businesses and organizations with the same concerns.  Using the information provided will help reduce the needless fatalities and injuries on our highways and the associated costs.
