The Come Home Safe Project is going well!  As you know, the governor proclaimed October Homecoming month, and on August 28, 3 high schools across the state hosted news conference to announce this project.  Click It is working with over 200 high schools to encourage Nebraska teens to buckle up.

Omaha North High School starts a big day of news conferences!

A big day of news conferences started at Omaha North High School.  Click It's Come Home Safe project was welcomed by principal Gene Haynes and a large group of North High students.  CHS Mackiel North

Lincoln's Southwest High School welcomes Click It
Principal Rob SlCHS Lincolnauson and the kids from Southwest High School welcomed not only Government officials and the safety council, but also members of law enforcement.  The desire to see our teens get more serious about safety belts is unanimous!
 
 
CHS Rick SheehyIn addition, our Lieutenant Governor shared some memories from his days as a paramedic.  Rick Sheehy heartily endorsed safety belts not only for teens, but for all Nebraskans.

Kearney High School supports Come Home Safe

Kearney High School's principal, Steve Wickham, feels strongly about safety for his high school students, and safety belts are a very fundamental piece of that safety.  
 
The State Patrol supports Principal Wickham's concern about safety belts.  They turned out full force across the state in support of this effort.
