Greetings!

The Click It website is being reorganized and redone.  One of the features we'd like to offer is personal stories of the big difference a small action can make--buckling your safety belt.

If you have a story about an accident you or someone you know survived because of a safety belt, email us.  We'd also love to receive some pictures of cars that didn't make it, but the people inside did.

Don't have a picture of the car? How about a picture of you?  We'd like to begin a collection of photos of survivors! Even if the crash was years ago--if you were saved by the belt, send us your picture!

Email us with your story: cidri@safenebraska.org

Or, do you know someone with a great story or picture?

Let's spread the word that the belt can make a big difference!  While some crashes are not survivable, your safety belt can reduce the chance of serious injury or death by 50%.
Slide Into Safety
Bateman Coco Keys
The Seatbelt  Enforcement Action Team gave away cake and had Middle School students and their families complete surveys about seatbelt safety at their Slide into Safety event at Coco Keys on Sunday, February 24.

With a motto of "Click Butt", they should attract kids' attention to the issue of wearing their safety belts every trip, every time!

Physician's Mutual Makes the Honor Roll again
Physician's Mutual procl
Congratulations to Physician's Mutual on receiving their third Honor Roll acknowledgement. Physician's Mutual considers each of their staff members an asset and counts on them to buckle up. Can your company assume that each staff member is living safely and wearing his or her safety belt? Consider doing an Honor Roll survey at your company! Promote safety belt usage so that your office doesn't ever face the turmoil of losing a staff member in a crash!
The "Click It Chronicle," our Click It Campaign e-letter, published whenever there is news, is available to all those interested in increasing safety belt usage.  Please share this information freely. Take the information, copy to friends, businesses and organizations with the same concerns.  Using the information provided will help reduce the needless fatalities and injuries on our highways and the associated costs. To subscribe to this e-letter or join the coalition, contact the Click It Team at cidri@safenebraska.org.
