Dear ,
Welcome to our June newsletter. This month we are announcing a state-of-the-art new humidity sensor element HYT 271 from Hygrosens. In addition, we have 2 new sensor signal conditioning IC's from ZMD. Last but not least, we are highlighting low cost, low pressure sensors from Silicon Microstructures as part of our June issue. If you are unsure of your needs or would like an immediate discussion about your application, the best use of your time is to either call us at 781-862-9572, email at info@servoflo.com, or use our sensor selector tool. With hundreds of pressure sensors to choose from, we would be happy to discuss your application at no obligation to you.

New Digital I2C Humidity Element HYT 271
| |
HYT 271 is a new digital humidity element with an I2C
interface, allowing communication with up to 126 sensors at one time. These durable sensors come in a 1.8% rH accuracy with a fast response
time of less than 4 seconds. A temperature output is also included. This new humidity sensor has a humidity resolution of 0.02% FS and an
optional low operating power supply of 1.8 to 3.6V.
The HYT 271 combines the advantages of a precise, capacitve humidity sensor with the high functionality of an ASIC. The module is factory
calibrated and any further alignment by the user is not necessary.
Both linearity and temperature drift are corrected by on-chip
calibration, providing excellent accuracy over a wide range of
temperature and humidity. HYT 271 has excellent chemical resistance and long term stability,
even in areas of high humidity. The sensor is dew resistant. Plug-in
type SIL connections with an SMD version available upon request.
Evaluation kits are also available. Learn more about the HYT 271

2 New Signal Conditioning IC's From ZMD
| |
We have 2 new signal conditioning IC's from ZMD to announce. ZSSC3017 is a CMOS integrated circuit for high
accuracy amplification and analog-to-digital conversion of differential
input signals. Designed for high resolution applications, the device
can perform offset, 1st and 2nd order span, and 1st and 2nd
order temperature compensation of the measured signal. Developed for
correction of resistive bridge sensors, the ZSSC3017 can also provide a
temperature output using an internal sensor measurement. The ZSS3017's
analog interface is configurable for optimizing the ZSSC3017's signal
processing for the sensor element. Gain and ADC input range offset
(input offset shift) can be programmed.
ZSSC3053 is a differential sensor signal conditioning integrated circuit for accurate amplification and sensor specific correction of mV-DC sensor signals.
Featuring a programmable analog gain up to 420 digital processing
allows for a maximum overall gain of 5000. Due to extended offset
compensation capabilities, the ZSSC3053 is adjustable to nearly all
resistive bridge sensor types, e.g. piezo-resistive, thin-film and
thick-film. It also enables the interfacing of single-ended resistive
sensors (e.g. RTDs) or mV-DC sources.
Digital compensation of offset, sensitivity, temperature drift and
nonlinearity is accomplished by a 16-bit RISC microcontroller running a
correction algorithm with calibration coefficients stored in an EEPROM.
