Greetings!

Servoflo ProductsWe have a lot of new information to share with you as we kick off Spring 2009.  Although times are difficult for many of you, it's a great opportunity to look for cost savings and efficiencies in your products.   We offer a broad range of competitive sensors which could be a direct replacement for your current solution.

Highlights of this issue include an expanded offering of pressure die, updated product information on Metallux, and 2 new sensor signal conditioners from Analog Micro.  Lastly, we've installed a great pressure unit conversion calculator on our website.

New Pressure Die From Intersema

Intersema Pressure DieWe have added many versions of Intersema's pressure sensor die to our website.  In particular, we are now offering die suitable for harsh environments and particularly geared for automotive applications such as tire pressure, brake pressure, and engine control.  The models to consider for harsh environments are:

MS7201A2:  0-1 bar
MS7212A:  0-12 bar
MS7218A2: 0-18 bar
MS7218A3: 0-18 bar
MS7228A: 0-28 bar

In addition to the above harsh environment pressure die, other versions are used to measure pressure in a variety of applications including level measurement, tank measurement, and dive computing.  Intersema pressure die are for sophisticated users who have strong technical abilities to use such devices.

Updated Datasheets For Metallux Pressure Sensors

Metallux Ceramic Pressure SensorsWe have uploaded updated datasheets for nearly all Metallux ceramic pressure sensors to our web site.  Utilizing thick film technology, Metallux pressure sensors are rugged, chemical resistant, and come in a variety of models and pressure ranges.  Their wide range of capabilities makes them suitable for the following applications:
  • Automotive applications such as exhaust gas, pneumatic circuits, fluid measurement (i.e.water, oil)
  • Fluid pressure measurement in pipes
  • Air conditioning fluid pressure
  • Liquid level measurement
  • Compressors & pumps
  • Lab instruments
  • Torque measurement in hydraulic valves
  • Tank level and other fluid level measurement applications

New Sensor Signal Conditioners From Analog Micro

We are pleased to offer 2 new sensor signal conditioners by Analog Microelectronics.

First, the OPV405 is a precision operational amplifier with integrated error detection functions.  The OPV405 has a multifunctional control unit which makes it suitable for use in decentralized error detection in electrical products.  Typical uses include:
  • Precision amplifier circuits with a rail-to-rail output
  • Amplifier circuits with performance parameter monitoring
  • Measuring amplifiers for sensors wish system monitoring
  • Adjustable current monitoring
  • Adjustable current sources with load current monitoring
The OPV406 is a general purpose quad operational amplifier with four independent configurable single amplifiers.  All amplifiers are short-circuit protected and unity-gain stable.  No external stabilization capacities needed.  Single or dual power supply mode is possible.  Typical uses for the OPV406 include:
  • Precision circuits with up to four operational amplifiers
  • Instrumental amplifiers
  • Signal conditioner
  • Impedance converters
  • Filter applications
  • Differential line driver
