Greetings! I'm pleased to report that we've received permission to post Michael Winerip's New York Times column about the Shaker schools on our website. If you missed it, you can read it now. I thought you'd also be interested in knowing that the First Ring Leadership Academy, a consortium of which Shaker was a founding member, is the subject of a new report by the Education Commission of the States. The report, published by the MetLife Foundation, details the Academy's "remarkable success" with its hands-on approach to training aspiring school leaders. Read the full report.Need to reach us?
