As CEO-chief executive officer-of her life, today's successful woman has three important qualities that enable her to move forward toward life success.  She's PROACTIVE instead of reactive; she lives her life based her CHOICES instead of leaving her fate up to chance; and she knows that she's a VICTOR and not a victim. 

We can find a woman like this in the Bible, her name was Lydia.  "One of those listening was a woman named Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth from the city of Thyatira, who was a worshiper of God..."  Acts 16:14a (NIV)   Lydia was a successful businesswoman who possessed CEO qualities that we can learn from today.  First, Lydia proactively established a lucrative business.  She didn't react to the environment and times that she was living in, she took the bull by the horns and made it happen. 

Next, Lydia chose to improve her life by listening and gaining insight and instruction.  "The Lord opened her heart to respond to Paul's message..."  Acts 16:14b.  Great women choose to better themselves and gain knowledge, wisdom and insight.  They have a personal development plan. In fact, women CEOs recognize that the power to choose is the one commodity that God has given us that if used properly can bring harmony, success and abundance into our lives. 

And finally Lydia was victorious sharing her life with others.  "When she and the members of her household were baptized, she invited us to her home..."  Acts 16:15a A great CEO knows the power of human capital and expands her network so that she can give her life away to others. From today forward, become a great Chief Executive Officer of your life by being proactive, choice driven and always have a victorious attitude!
