Worldwide surf gear manufacturer Rip Curl, Inc., will soon have a second retail presence on Kalakaua at the Pacific Beach Hotel, 2490 Kalakaua Ave., ground level and directly across from Waikiki Beach. The 1500 sq. ft. store is expected to open this Summer and will specialize in boardshorts and beachwear. The space is currently occupied by Loco Boutique which will relocate next door, and is adjacent to Yogurtland.
Founded at Bells Beach, Australia in 1969, Rip Curl features a wide selection of wetsuits, boardshorts, watches, apparel, and travel gear for the surf, snow, skate, wake, street and beach markets. This will be the third Rip Curl company store on Oahu including a storefront near Dukes Lane and one at Ala Moana Center, which is the only location that sells surfboards. There is one other location on Maui.
The
Pacific Beach Hotel features a prime oceanfront location at the east end of Waikiki. The hotel is a family-friendly destination featuring easy access to Waikiki Beach as well as a spectacular three-story indoor oceanarium. "This is a great tenant line up for the location given the proximity to the beach," said Cory, president of Beall Corp. For more information about this or any of our listings click
