Robert C. Robbins, M.D. Recently Named CEO of Texas Medical Center
The Board of Directors of Texas Medical Center recently announced the appointment of Robert C. Robbins, M.D. to the position of Chief Executive Officer of Texas Medical Center. Dr. Robbins is the Director of the Stanford Cardiovascular Institute and Chair of the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Stanford University School of Medicine. He has had considerable experience in academia, clinical care, and in participation on the Boards of several publicly traded corporations. Click here for press release.

SHSU Industrial Technology Career Fair
The Sam Houston State University, Agricultural & Industrial Sciences Department, Industrial Technology Program will have a career fair Thursday September 20, 2012. This career fair is intended to introduce the students to potential occupational offerings and to introduce prospective employers to students of this program. The Industrial Technology Program offers degrees in Construction Management, Design & Development, Electronics, Safety Management, and Industrial Education.
