Michael Davidson Lucchese, Sr., 74, of Pearland, Texas, passed away on August 30, 2012. Mike grew up in San Antonio and served in the San Antonio Police Department before moving to Houston. He thrived in the acoustical contracting and construction material sales arena for over 40 years as an award-winning salesman and sales manager. Mike Lucchese worked at M&G Distribution when he first came to Houston. Later the company changed its name to Acousti Engineering of Texas. He opened M&C Distributors in the '80s, until the economy took a downturn. He worked for Winroc/SPI till his passing. Mike participated actively in a variety of professional associations including the AGC, ABC, CISCA, DISCA and AWCI.
Services will be held at South Park Funeral Home, 1310 N Main, Pearland, Tx 77581. Visitation is from 6-8pm on Friday, September 7th, 2012, and the funeral service is at 10am on Saturday, September 8, 2012. In lieu of flowers please spend extra time with someone you care about or someone who needs a friend; Mike would like that. If you would like, please make a donation to the charity of your choice.

SHSU Industrial Technology Career Fair
The Sam Houston State University, Agricultural & Industrial Sciences Department, Industrial Technology Program will have a career fair Thursday September 20, 2012. This career fair is intended to introduce the students to potential occupational offerings and to introduce prospective employers to students of this program.
