FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
July 23, 2012 (HOUSTON, TX) -- Effective August 7, 2012, the AGC Houston plan room will become an "internet-only" plan room. Prior to the conversion date, AGC Houston and its internet plan room (IPR) provider iSqFt, will be setting up IPR kiosks for use by chapter members.
"The plan room has played an important role in the history of our chapter, and converting to digital is just the next step in the process," says, Jerry Nevlud, AGC Houston President and CEO. "Even with the new set up, AGC Houston will continue to be there for our members in this part of the construction process."
Once the new process is in place, AGC Houston will continue to provide project information updates via the Construction Project Information (CPI) bulletin posted in the weekly Member's Edge newsletter as well as in the members - only area of www.agchouston.org. iSqFt will remain the online construction news provider for both the AGC chapter and iSqFt subscribers in the Houston area. Printed documents will be available for purchase through the iSqFt kiosks.
For iSqFt subscription information, please visit www.isqft.com; for questions regarding the AGC Houston plan room, please contact Tamara Hancock, tamara.b@agchouston.org.
