EDUCATION / TRAINING

THE LEADERS COURSE - May 30, 2012

This is not a typical class where you check your brain at the door when you sit down to take notes. The Leaders Course® is a hands-on training program in human relations and effective speaking that will teach you to become an effective, charismatic leader in any situation. It's about learning-to-do by-doing, participating, taking risks, and applying what you learn in and outside the classroom. This course meets for 5 Wednesday mornings, once a month for 5 months from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

RETURN TO WORK PROGRAM - June 20, 2012
It may be very hard for a construction company to accommodate light duty restrictions when they are already working greatly reduced crews. They basically need every body to be fully productive. Some restrictions just make that impossible to accommodate, so the employer ends up unable to accommodate the injured workers early return to work and the cost of the workers' compensation claim rises. This ultimately makes the contractors premium and experience modifiers increase as well. This luncheon seminar will address:
  • Review of the necessity of a written Return to Work Program
  • The documents necessary to implement an effective Return to Work Program
  • Explanation of Transitional Duty
  • How Non-Profit Organizations can be utilized
