On May 2, 2012, you and your company are invited to stand-up and show your commitment to safety by participating in our Annual Safety Stand-Down. AGC Houston and OSHA have agreed to take the lead in asking the local industry to halt their job sites for a one-hour safety program which focuses on working without injury and saving lives. The goal of this program is to proactively refocus the industry's attention on safety in order to heighten employee awareness for working safely. We firmly believe taking this action as a construction community will make a strong statement about the importance of safety to each of us.

Stand-Down participants will be recognized at the annual AGC Houston Mid-Year Meeting: "Focus on Safety".
