OSHA 30-HOUR - June 6-10, 2011
This course is designed for project management, site supervision, & field employees involved in the construction industry. Many owners are now requiring that site supervision obtain the 30 Hour construction outreach training program as an orientation to occupational safety and health covered by OSHA 29 CFR 1926. This class is NOT a prerequisite for the OSHA 500 course. If you want to take the OSHA 500 course you must take the OSHA 510 course. Click here for details.

DAVIS-BACON WAGE SURVEY HAS BEGUN
US Department of Labor Begins Long Awaited Study in Texas
The DOL began a mass mailing of surveys yesterday in order to get feedback for upcoming changes to the Davis-Bacon wages in Texas. Contractors are encouraged to submit data on all commercial building projects (both federal and private) which were underway between March 1, 2010 and August 31, 2010.
