Kyland IEEE1588v2 & SyncE Solution 
Kyland IEEE1588v2 & SyncE Solution Topology

Kyland complete IEEE1588v2 & SyncE solution includes All-in-One modular intelligent GPT Series, high accuracy GPS module, IRIG-B output module, PTC1000 clock converter, and SICOM3306PT Din-Rail IEEE1588v2 industrial Ethernet switches. The complete solution features both IEEE1588v2 and SyncE (ITU-T.G.8261/ G.8262) with hardware time stamping allowing 10 nanoseconds time synchronization over the entire network. The high precision clock information can be received by the GPS module with 0.01ppm frequency stability and be carried out to the network edge and converted to IRIG-B for synchronization of existing devices that are not capable of 1588. Din Rail PTC1000 Clock converter and SICOM3306PT IEEE1588v2 industrial Ethernet switches are the extension of Kyland precision timing solution. They can be installed in cabinet with limited space and help sync the entire network with GPT series.

IRIG-B Module
IRIG-B Module

IRIG-B module provides two IRIG-B(DC) output ports, two IRIG-B(AC) output ports, and one PPS output port. It enable the PTP clock information to be converted to IRIG-B for synchronization of existing devices that are not capable of 1588, allowing them to be kept in service even while updating the timing and data network infrastructure.

Using an Ethernet network to propagate the timing signals, eliminating the extra cabling requirements of IRIG-B. 
 
Using mechanisms that dramatically increase accuracy by accounting for switching time and peer to peer propagation delays that occur as the timing signals traverse the network, and the accuracy achieves nanoseconds range.

Using transparent clocks in Ethernet switches that eliminate the need for end-to-end delay measurement, reducing traffic congestion and eliminating switch jitter.
