Where Brooklyn Meets New Orleans

Habanero Tickle Sauce is Launched!

Tickle Sauce takes hot sauce to a new level by being an all purpose condiment that can be used on just about everything.  The sauce has culinary and cultural influences from Brooklyn and New Orleans.  I originally came from New Orleans, where I grew up cooking with my mom.  And, we currently live in and support our local Brooklyn community.

We hope you love the sauce as much as we do!

Beth Linskey and Liz Beals of Beth's Farm Kitchen, our co packer, have been extremely knowledgeable, professional and essential in helping us get our product from kitchen to shelf.  Because of their connections in the Hudson Valley, we use organic, locally grown ingredients when able and patronize local farmers in the region.

Beth's Farm Kitchen is a resource listed in the Cornell University Food Entrepreneur materials.  And, Beth and Liz are leaders in the New York Small Scale Food Processors Association.  They produce their own jams and chutneys, which are sold in the Union Square (NYC) Farmer's Market.

In the Works

  • Where can we buy Tickle Sauce? While you can find Tickle Sauce at GRAB in Park Slope, Brooklyn, we're working to expand the number of locations in and around NYC that carry our sauce.  As of this publication, the Bedford Cheese Shop in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and Pizza a Casa on the Lower East Side of Manhattan now carry our sauce.
  • Markets - We're pursuing opportunities to participate in local markets as a vendor to sell our sauce.
  • Schwag - Through Alan Schneidman we will start producing schwag (a.k.a., hats & T-Shirts).  Show your support out there and help us get our product noticed.
  • Online Sales - We will establish online e-commerce.  This will take more time.  Stay tuned.
