Dr. Joan's Life Tip of The Month 

Laugh! Watch a funny show or movie, read the comics, or go online to enjoy funny clips from your favorite funny people. Tell jokes. Brighten your mood and improve your health at the same time.  

 What is Dr Joan up to?
-April 5-7 Joan attended her last Space Studies Board meeting of the National Academy of Sciences in Washington, DC. Much work has been done to lay the groundwork for the restoration of the NASA Life Sciences program to its former status. This completes Dr. Joan's four years on the Board. 
-On April 20th, Joan returned to the Ashburn, VA Verizon Business Center to speak to the employees on the subject of "Alternative Medicine: Fact or Fiction."  It was a lively time and included discussion of definitions, sorting fact from myth, safety and regulatory issues. 
-Dr. Joan is excited to be in discussions with a large senior center company about the delivery of Stress Fitness talks and workshops to their members.
