Dear Fellow Alumni,
Summer is here--well, technically speaking, that is! Blistering heat or not, the laid back summer months are the perfect time to re-visit, or begin mapping out, our goals for continued personal development--a lifelong learning process that can take on many different forms.
While parenthood has been--and continues to be--my greatest and most rewarding life lesson, in addition to the important foundation that formal education provides, continually seeking new opportunities to grow and challenge ourselves in a variety of different areas helps us to reap the rewards of a full and complete life.
As such, I am pleased to provide you with In-Touch e-news' first installment in a series of articles focused on a variety of personal development topics, including:
- Improving self-awareness and self-knowledge
- Building or renewing personal identity
- Developing strengths and talents
- Fulfilling aspirations
- Identifying potential and improving wealth
- Increasing employability
- Improving physical/emotional health
I hope you enjoy this month's article: The Power of Personal Branding, authored by Vancouver-based personal branding educator and consultant, Teg Brar. If you have any of your own personal development tips, experiences or stories that you would like to share with your fellow Kwantlen alumni, we would love to hear from you too! Email us today at alumni@kwantlen.ca.

Many people believe that attending university is just about getting a piece of paper saying you graduated. And while others just want to get technical knowledge in order to get their first job in a particular field, there is much more to university than just a piece of paper or a technical knowledge MORE>>>
