What is a Stair Chair? 

My mother had become progressively weaker as a result of her battle against lung cancer.  Even with 24/7 home care, Mom soon reached the point where she could no longer handle (even with the help of her live-in aide) the short flight of stairs between her upstairs bedroom and the lower living room and kitchen level.  What to do?  

Our Geriatric Care Manager suggested having a stair chair installed.  It was done.  The stair chair, also called a stair lift, gave Mom the ability to again enjoy her entire home instead of being confined to the bedroom.  Take a look at the short video below to see how a stair chair can solve what many think to be an unsolvable problem.
