My much-needed vacation is over and I am back in Colorado.  Travels took me first to Prague in the Czech Republic, then to Israel.  Prague is a beautiful city. Israel is amazing!  There is so much to see and learn...really ancient history, a modern country, Jerusalem, engaging people, sweet tomatoes being grown in the desert... and I never felt unsafe.  Yet, it is good to be home.

March, 2012 Cost of Care Survey (Genworth)
 
This latest, by Genworth Financial, validates the recent Met Life Mature Market Institute annual cost of care survey.  While more or less confirming the earlier reported numbers, the Genworth study provides more realistic assisted living costs.  Read more
A financial plan that doesn't address how long term care services will be paid for is not a complete financial plan.
