Can Long Term Care Insurance Premiums be deducted?
Maybe.  If you are a business owner (self-employed or otherwise), you and your spouse can generally deduct at least a portion of your premiums.  People who have the good fortune of employers paying their long term care insurance premiums do not pay tax on those premiums.  If you are not a business owner, then you generally cannot deduct premiums.  For more details and the maximum deductible amounts for 2012...Read more
