One of my faithful and eagle-eyed readers caught a mistake in the August, 2011 edition of my Planning for Long Term Care eNewsletter.

Please go to the article, "Does A Long Term Care Insurance Benefit Period Really Matter?".  4th Paragraph, 3rd sentence should have read: If your reimbursement policy has a $6,000 Monthly Benefit Limit and you spend $5,000 on qualifying care in a month, you will be reimbursed $5,000 for that month."

I erroneously said "$6,000".  Note to self: I have got to stop doing final editing late at night.  Thank you B for catching this.

A financial plan that doesn't address how long term care services will be paid for is not a complete financial plan.
Sincerely,
 Ray Smith
