Thank you for reading my monthly eNewsletter.  A plan to prepare you for the costs of needing Long Term Care services is an essential part of any financial plan.  A well-designed plan will enable you to protect your assets, protect your care choices, and protect your family relationships. 

Earlier this month, I participated in the 9th National Long Term Care Insurance Producers Summit (I have attended most of them).  Two themes at this year's Summit were state of the industry and the growth of long term care insurance as an employee benefit.  I will talk about these in this issue.

Most employers have encouraged their employees to build a retirement nest egg by offering various pension and retirement plans.  What is almost always missing is the means to protect these accumulated assets from the high cost of long term care services.    Read more
A financial plan that doesn't address how long term care services will be paid for is not a complete financial plan.
