DVIRC and NJMEP Awarded $1.5 Million Grant to Develop Energy Efficient Building Products for the Greater Philadelphia Innovation Cluster
Grant Complements $122 Million U.S. Department of Energy Project

The Delaware Valley Industrial Resource Center (DVIRC) and New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program (NJMEP) received a $1.5 million grant from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Hollings Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) to help small to medium size manufacturers in the Philadelphia region commercialize new technologies developed by the recently announced $122 million Department of Energy (DOE) Energy Innovation Hub at the Philadelphia Navy Yard.  Read more.

Is the Trenton Tide Changing?

The Assembly Commerce and Economic Development  Committee recently passed two bills that are designed to assist the State's manufacturers.  One provides manufacturers with incentives to invest in capital improvements and modernize their operations and the other bill exempts sales of energy and utility service to manufacturing facilities from the sales and use tax and the transitional energy facility assessment (TEFA) surcharge.  Read more.
