Dear sister and brothers,

 

As you know, in April we conducted a survey asking for input on the process of parish council elections. It has been called to our attention that the ballot language for Option 4 in that survey did not accurately represent what had been suggested at the community Convocation. 

 

After much discussion, the Parish Council has decided to repeat the survey, with the corrected language for Option 4. Please click the link below to take the new survey. (This should take only a minute or so.) The Parish Council will use your input when considering changes to the Parish By-Laws. We apologize for the delay and inconvenience.

At our next Convocation, we will talk about some proposed changes to the parish By-laws, based on what we have been hearing from the Community, and based on the results of the above survey. A draft of the proposed changes to the By-laws will be e-mailed as soon as possible after the survey is complete. 
 
What we as a parish decide about these proposals will affect how the election of new Parish Council members is held. Our hope is to hold elections at the beginning of July.
