Pridefest Parade Update
Sunday, June 26, 2011
Meet at 11:00 am, Parade starts at Noon
Where to meet: Call 314.401.1759 when you arrive.
This Sunday, June 26, is Pridefest parade day.
Rain or shine, we march! The parade organizers will place us in line that day, so we cannot give the exact meeting location. However, we will probably be in the vicinity of Cherokee and the east side of Grand (like last year). When you arrive, call our cell and we will guide you to our exact location. Please arrive by 11:00 am (allow time for parking). The parade begins at noon. Come prepared for the weather. Paul & Sue Nauert cell phone: 314.401.1759. Pridefest After-Parade Celebration All are invited to Nancy & Terri's house for an after-parade celebration beginning between 2 - 2:30 pm. Brats will be provided. Sides and drinks appreciated. |

MDA Summer Camp
We need helpers on Tuesday June 28th in the early evening. Our friends at Lowe's are coming out to bbq for us (and everything is donated as far as food goes) but we have no one to help serve the food. Usually we eat in the cafeteria with a full staff (and pay a lot of money) so having a bbq is great for us. We could just use some help serving & cleaning up after this meal. We have 60 kids and 70 volunteers who aren't really able to help in this way. Dinner is usually at 5:30 so we'd need volunteers out at Babler by 4:45 or 5pm. Anyone who is interested can call or email me and I'd be happy to talk with them. Thanks so much!

L'ocal L'Arche
Hi everyone! I invite you to join us in our prayers of thanksgiving at the opening of the L'Arche house in St. Louis. What a momentous occasion after many years of prayer and effort to bring a L'Arche community to St. Louis! We would not be here without your love, prayers, hard work and financial support. Thank you, thank you! Long live L'Arche!
Peace,
Janet Ryan |
