Mark Dawson, SOC of Anderson Indiana correctly identified the famous face of Jacques Cousteau. Mark was chosen at random from the six contestants with the correct response. He will be receiving the SOC Sports Blanket as his reward.

The photo is of Jacques-Yves Cousteau, taken at the SOC Lifetime Achievement Awards, 1995, at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Marina Del Rey.

Mark in LA for "A Ripple of Hope" documentary shoot.
Mark writes:

Regarding "what I'm doing", I mostly work with corporate and non-profit organizations for the normal day to day. Documentaries are also something I work on. "A Ripple of Hope", the project on which the attached photo was taken, is being distributed for television
domestically and worldwide. I also just finished working on "Candles & Carols", a live-to-tape multi-camera Christmas music TV program. I used my SOC credit for the first time on that production! www.candlesandcarols.com and www.rippleofhopemovie.com.

President Dan Kneece, SOC and David Tolsky, SOC visited the Vision Center at Children's Hospital Los Angeles recently, donning Santa caps and bringing a box full of toys for the young patients there. Vision Center reps Amanda and Vanessa were on hand as wide-eyed youngsters hurried down the hallway to approach the toys.

"We're grateful to the SOC members who donated unwrapped toys at our annual holiday screening and party on December 12th", said Tolsky, SOC Screening Coordinator. "It gives Dan and myself an opportunity to give a little something extra to the Vision Center kids on behalf of our membership".
