"It works! I came in limping and left walking normally. Any questions I had were answered thoroughly and no one made me feel stupid. I received an education about my condition and how I can prevent re-injury. It was a great experience."

Backpack Safety
| |
It's that time of year again and school is in session! Going back to school brings buying new clothes, new lunch boxes, and school supplies, including backpacks! There are many backpacks to pick from for your children to use, but it's important to keep in mind a few tips on how your children should wear and carry their backpack.
Carrying a heavy load improperly can cause many issues in the long run with children. Not wearing a backpack properly or not lifting the backpack properly can lead to back, shoulder, and neck pain. Matt Ernst, PT, MPT, OSC, was recently interviewed on WCPO Channel 9 about backpack safety. The interview is below!
