Greetings!
Suzhou Nanotech and NanoGlobe are honored to invite you to the 2nd Workshop on Manufacturing Technologies for a Sustainable Society held on May 5th, 2011 in Suzhou, the nanotech commercialization hub in China. This is an invaluable opportunity for those interested in nanotech-related business development in China. Suzhou has been designated by the Ministry of Science and Technology as "China's Nanotech International Innovation Cluster" and is emerging as the Silicon Valley in China. This bimonthly series of workshops offer a powerful forum for you to present your company's technologies/products/services to China's industry and R&D leaders.
The bimonthly Manufacturing Technologies for a Sustainable Society Workshop Series aim to promote and facilitate nanotech application developments, partnerships and market access in China. This second workshop in the series will include the following topics:
- Nanotech Enabled High Efficiency PV
- Nano Imprint Lithography
- Nano Carbon Applications
- Nano Medicine & Environment, Health and Safety
- Green Manufacturing
Nanopolis Suzhou will total one square kilometer when fully built out in the Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) that already houses 20,000 multinational and national companies. The SIP has committed 10 billion RMB (about 1.5 BUSD) for the next five years to further develop Suzhou's high-tech industries including nanotech enabled industries. SIP is equipped with the state of art micro- & nano-fabrication and characterization facilities. It has developed world class R&D and commercialization capabilities in the areas of Micro- & Nano-manufacturing Technologies, Energy and Green Technologies, and Nano Medicine. A detailed overview of the Suzhou nanotech capabilities and ecosystem can be found at: Suzhou Nanotechnology Capability Report.
Following the workshop, we will arrange site visits of the Suzhou's nanotechnology infrastructures, R&D and commercialization leaders. Suzhou is a beautiful, ancient garden city known as the "Venice of the Orient" and we will provide you with glimpses of the city's charm, too. If you are interested in speaking or participating in future events in Suzhou Nanotech, please email us at contact@nano-globe.biz.
