Meet the Interim President     

St. Peter's is hosting a community forum from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 2, in the Hospital's Education Center.  All those interested in meeting St. Peter's interim President & CEO Tom Gregg and learning more about the hospital and its medical staff are welcome to attend.  Following a brief presentation the forum will be opened to questions from the audience.  The interim CEO will be joined on a panel by Board Chair Rick Hays, Board member Dr. Maria Braman, Chief of Staff Dr. Tom Weiner, and Chief of Staff Elect Dr. Tom Strizich.

Fountain of YOUth  

Learn how to stay healthy as you age at the community's first "Fountain of YOUth Fest," a free wellness event focusing on the health and well-being of those age 50 plus.  The event is Wednesday, May 23, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., at the Carroll College Commons, 1601 N. Benton Avenue. You Asked, We Listened!      

St. Peter's new Patient Access Center is the Hospital's latest effort to increase patient satisfaction.  Five new full-time staff have been hired, dedicated only to scheduling appointments for physicians at St. Peter's Medical Group and outpatient appointments. The new Patient Access Center has resulted in fewer callers getting a voice mail or having wait on hold. The staff of St. Peter's answers an average of  30,000 calls per month, with Mondays consistently being the busiest.    

Health Screenings Offered 

St. Peter's Wellness is offering health screenings to the public on Tuesday, May 22, from 6:30 - 10 a.m., in the hospital's Education Center. The $42 comprehensive wellness screening includes a computerized health appraisal for a chronic disease risk and a blood draw for glucose, cholesterol, LDL, HDL, triglycerides.  Please click here to learn more or make an appointment; or call 444-2128.

Pinwheels Put Hope in Motion      

Honor loved ones with a pinwheel this spring by making a donation to St. Peter's Hospital Foundation. Please  click here  to learn where to send your donation by May 18.  The Pinwheel Ceremony is Thursday, May 24, 4:30 outside the hospital's Main Entrance. The Foundation raises funds to help to local cancer patients and the Cancer Treatment Center.
