Heart Health Events

St. Peter's offers two free heart health events in February. Go Red for Women is sponsored by Macy's, Friday, Feb. 3.
Wear red to Macy's for a special discount and to enter the red wardrobe photo contest - winner to be determined by Facebook votes. Both events offer free wellness screenings and the opportunity to visit with a cardiologist and health professionals about the results.
Heart of the Matter is Tuesday, Feb. 28, 5:30 p.m., at the hospital and features an early morning blood draw for both men and women, with results available that evening. A free lipid panel screenings to the first 200 people who sign up here. For more information on Go Red,click Go Red. |
New Spine Surgery Available

St. Peter's now offers spine surgery with the O-arm, a complete multi-dimensional surgical imaging system. It is one of only two hospitals in the state with this newest spine surgery technology. Room to Grow
|
Due to growing demand, the Pediatric Rehab department recently moved into a new, larger space within the hospital. St. Peter's worked with staff and families to design the new area. Features include eight private treatment rooms, an enclosed gym space with three sensory swings, an expanded waiting room and a new play area and a resource area for parents. Over the years, Pediatric Rehabilitation services have grown from one Speech Language Pathologist in 1990 to now having three Speech Language Pathologists, four Occupational Therapists and two Physical Therapists who provide pediatric services.
